East Coast pow may have been hard to come by this year (don’t fret guys, you’ll always have 2015), but the ladies from the Ski the East tribe still found deep turns this year up in the Chic-Choc Mountains of Quebec. Blessed with ample snowfall, some blistering wind-loading, and trees that are actually spaced an adequate amount apart, the Chic-Chocs have become a favorite extreme ski destination for the STE crew over the years, and even low snow totals couldn’t stop Powder Awards Best Powder winner Louise Lintilhac and Paige Fitzgerald from collecting their wintry bounty.

The edit is number nine in STE’s Spectral series, a web series documenting the many different faces of the East Coast ski season, and at least one piece of proof that maybe the winter wasn’t that bad after all.
