Level 1’s Sunny is everything I love about ski movies: travels to wintery paradises, good music, big personalities, a broad spectrum of skiing, all with an upbeat tick. The film travels across the globe to Scandinavia, Alaska, Japan, and British Columbia to hit urban jibs, backcountry booters, and storm day pow. Another thing I love about Sunny, which was released in 2012, are the familiar cast of characters who grew up with Level 1, including Tom Wallisch, who moved on the following year to film his solo project. Sunny is a classic, a throwback to good days with good friends. It also won Movie of the Year at the 2013 Powder Awards. Watch it tonight, right here on Powder.com. —Julie Brown
