All Time Video: Alta, Utah

Watch skiers submerge and send courtesy of 30 inches in 48 hours over the holiday weekend

Alta received its biggest storm of the new year when 30 inches fell in 48 hours, starting Thursday, January 14 and carrying on through the weekend.

Skiers rejoiced, sharing their stardom on social media throughout the last few days. Despite the holiday crowds, fields of untouched powder remained mainly due to the storm’s intensity, which peaked on Saturday at 11 percent.

POWDER Video Editor Hennie Van Jaarsveld headed up to Little Cottonwood in the deluge and shot several skiers enjoying the bounty, from Luke Perrin to Tatum Monod and Wiley Miller and so many more.
