Colorado-Natives OneRepublic to Headline Two Nights of Concerts at Riverwalk

Burr Ridge, Ill. – December 15, 2009 – The Winter Dew Tour, the world's premier season-long winter action sports tour, kicks off its 2009-10 sophomore season with the first of three stops, the Totino's Open, beginning Thursday, Dec. 17 at Breckenridge Ski Resort. The Winter Dew Tour returns to Breckenridge, Colo. for the second consecutive year, hosting four days of slopestyle and superpipe competitions for the world's best snowboard and freeski athletes.

The athlete roster includes the who's who in the snowboard world, highlighted by defending 2008-09 Dew Cup champion Spencer O'Brien (SNB slope) as well as Olympic hopefuls Mason Aguirre, Steve Fisher and Breckenridge-local Zack Black, fresh off a third-place finish at the Grand Prix at Copper. The best of the best in the freeski world will also be competing at Breckenridge Ski Resort, with icon Simon Dumont and local athletes Colby West and Bobby Brown representing their sport.

Action Zone tickets for the Winter Dew Tour's Totino's Open are available for $100 for the weekend and are on sale exclusively through Action Zone tickets are for adults and children and provide access to priority reserved viewing areas for all finals contests throughout the event, in addition to official Winter Dew Tour swag, a behind-the-scenes tour, athlete autograph session, merchandise discount coupon and cold Mountain Dew or hot chocolate.

Beyond the competitions, Colorado-natives OneRepublic will headline two nights of the Winter Dew Tour's Music Series presented by Verizon Wireless – Friday and Saturday, December 18-19, at the Riverwalk Center in the town of Breckenridge. Friday night's concert will begin at 7pm, while Saturday's will kick off at 7:30pm. Entering its second season, the top athletes in the world will take part in this year's Winter Dew Tour, all competing for the highly coveted Dew Cup that will be awarded in Mount Snow, Vt. at season's end. Winter Dew Tour
The Winter Dew Tour consists of three major, multi-sport events spanning across the country, with a cumulative points system, and a $1.5 million competitive purse.
