Week in Review — Montreal Turning Olympic Tower Into Big Air Jump!

All aboard the Santa Fe ski bus! Crevasse scare! Tanner Hall gets Instagressive!

Human rights activist Tanner Hall sounds off on Caitlyn Jenner…whoops
Kudos to Tanner for staying up-to-date on current events and forming his own opinions, but he might get some heat after his latest comments on Jenner's big news this week. Not to mention that his Instagram post is based on a false report. Damn Internet can be so misleading sometimes, huh?

It's official: Santa Fe gets ski bus
Starting this fall, Ski Santa Fe loc-dogs can ditch their cars and hop aboard New Mexico's first ski bus. After years of discussion, the North Central Regional Transit District agreed to run the inaugural Blue Bus Mountain Trail route from downtown Santa Fe up to the ski basin from early October until the first weekend in April. Bus tickets will cost $5 each way, but it's sure to make a Totemoff's après beer taste a million bucks better.

Skier falls deep into glacier crevasse aka my nightmare.
I thought my fear of snakes was bad. Nope, falling into a crevasse, that's some scary s#%t. Solid heads-up play with the snow anchor, and props to the rest of this guy's party for coming to the rescue quickly.

Vermont town looking to resurrect local hill
West Windsor is looking to resurrect Ascutney Mountain after its 2010 bankruptcy and turn the area into a protected backcountry ski zone in the heart of the Green Mountain State. The small Vermont town is in the process of raising $900,000 to buy back the land from its current owners, MFW Associates, and plans on establishing the 469 acres as a community recreation area for backcountry skiing and mountain biking. So far the group has raised $400,000 and is looking for more via its crowdfunding campaign. Ski the East!

Montreal to transform Olympic Tower into big air ski jump
According to Montreal radio station CADJ, the City of a Hundred Steeples may become the City of the Most Ridiculous Big Air Competition Ever to celebrate its 375th birthday, turning the iconic Olympic Tower into an in-run for a freeskiing big air competition. Organizers INBOX events have proposed the Skying Montreal competition and stadium operators considered it a good idea according to the report. The competition would feature 25 of the world's best freeskiers with the predetermined winner being Quebec's own, Vinny Cash Gagnier.

Meanwhile, in Russia…
Aggressive inline is cool again! Seriously though.
