SNOWBIRD, UTAH – Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort is continuing its dedication to remarkable service with the addition of Communications Manager Emily Moench.

“We are thrilled to have Emily’s talent and communications prowess on our team,” said Dave Fields, Snowbird Vice President of Resort Operations. “The caliber of the 100-plus candidates for this position was astounding, and Emily was at the top.”

A Salt Lake City native, Moench comes to Snowbird with a strong background in public and media relations from SmartMouth Communications, where she media trained professional athletes and high profile figures. Moench recently earned a law degree from the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law. Her competence ranges beyond the office and to the mountains, where she is a passionate skier at Snowbird, her home resort for the past 11 years.

“I am confident Emily will serve as an exceptional ambassador for Snowbird as the resort continues to increase its visibility around the world and execute its Master Development Plan,” said Bob Bonar, President of Snowbird.

Moench succeeds Jared Ishkanian, Snowbird’s Director of Public Relations since 2007, in keeping the community informed of Snowbird news.

“Snowbird is grateful for Jared’s dedicated service, which has been instrumental to our success for the past three years,” said Fields. “He will be missed.”

Located 29 miles from Salt Lake City International Airport, Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort is North America’s most accessible year-round resort. Snowbird has received a record-breaking year-to-date snowfall total of 754 inches and is the only Utah resort still offering skiing and riding Fridays through Sundays, as well as Memorial Day.
