Estonia’s 16-year-old Kelly Sildaru made Aspen X Games history this weekend when she scored 99 points out of a possible 100 for her third slopestyle run of the competition, earning the highest recorded slopestyle score—men or women—in X Games history.
The victory marks Sildaru’s third X Games gold for slopestyle. The young skier also took home silver in superpipe on January 24. In 2016, Sildaru became the youngest X Games gold medalist for slopestyle at 13 years old, a title that she still holds.
Sildaru is no stranger to victory, but she has sat out of recent major competitions—including the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang—due to injury. However, as of late, Sildaru has been on a major winning streak. Sildaru took home gold in slopestyle at the 2018 Dew Tour in Breckenridge, Colorado, on December 13.
Sildaru won a total of three medals in 25 hours, including third in big air and silver in the superpipe.
