Alterra Mountain Company announced in a press release today that Brighton Resort in Utah has been added to the Ikon Pass for the 2018-19 season, making it the pass with the most Utah access available.

Because Alterra did not acquire Brighton, rather the resort has partnered with Alterra to be offered as a destination on the Ikon Pass this winter, the partnership will offer seven days of skiing for Ikon Pass holders, and five days for Ikon Base Pass holders. Alterra also announced that Solitude Mountain Resort, which the company has officially acquired, will be available to Ikon Pass holders with unlimited access this season.

Brighton, located at the top of Utah’s Big Cottonwood Canyon, averages 500 inches of snow annually and is known for its quaint feel and extensive night skiing.

The Ikon Pass now boasts five destinations in Utah—Alta, Snowbird, Deer Valley, Solitude, and Brighton—making Utah, especially Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons, a hot destination for Ikon Pass holders.
