Weather cancels men's World Cup GS at Söelden
After snow and wind ripped through the Austrian Alps over the weekend, FIS race officials canceled the first men's World Cup GS event of the season in Söelden, Austria. The cancellation put Ted Ligety's return to action on hold after back surgery ended his 2016-2017 campaign last January. GS action resumes in early December in Beaver Creek, with pivotal points on the line ahead of the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.

Sweden's favorite ski herd dropped a trailer for its upcoming flick, “Interpretation,” and these tricks are treats.

Bode Miller drops Olympic bid and joins NBC broadcasting
The Bode Miller Saga entered a new chapter this week, when the 40-year-old made the end of his Olympic career official, announcing that he would be traveling to the Winter Games in PyeongChang with a microphone rather than his customary speed suit. The five-time Olympian joined NBC's Olympic coverage team as an analyst this week, prompting the outlet to install an extra layer of safety netting around the broadcast booth.

According to the trailer released this week, Sammy Carlson's 24, a film celebrating his 24 years on snow, is poised to be an absolute heater. Still no word on how he installed trampolines on each of his pillow landings, but the guy flat out bounces his way down the mountain, sprinkling in a butter cork 5 for good measure.

Jake Burton body doubles Lindsey Vonn

Hey Lindsey (Vonn). Happy Halloween. See you at the Olympics. I will be the one with the snowboard. Love, Jake
