Major Snowstorm Welcomes Sundance Film Festival to Utah
PARK CITY, UTAH – Up to 40,000 movie-goers and celebrities are expected to flock to Park City, UT this week for the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. However, films and parties will not be the only action at the festival this year as a major winter storm has landed in Park City as well. Park City ski resorts have received as much as 17 inches of snow in the past 48 hours and forecasts suggest that an additional two feet of snow may fall by Sunday. Other Utah resorts have reported as much as 26 inches of snow in the last 48 hours and are also expecting additional accumulation throughout the weekend.
