Ski Utah and Local Skiers Make History Skiing All 14 Utah Resorts in One Day

Ski Utah and Local Skiers prove they're absolute animals

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – Ski Utah joined with a group of local skiers to ski all 14 Utah resorts in a single day March 15, 2012. The group approached Ski Utah to become the first in history to ski all 14 Utah resorts in a single day in exchange for raising funds to benefit organizations including Huntsman Cancer Institute and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Canyon Transportation also donated their services to make this mission possible.

The 14 skiers began their day on March 15, 2012 at 3 a.m. at Utah’s most Southern resort, Brian Head, and completed their mission in record time at 7:45 p.m. at Beaver Mountain near Logan, Utah. The skiers have rivaled the previous Ski Utah record of skiing 13 resorts in one day set January 13, 2009. Since that time, Utah’s fourteenth resort – Eagle Point – opened near Beaver, Utah.

“Utah is famous for the unparalleled access of its ski and snowboard resorts,” said Ski Utah Communications Director Jessica Kunzer. “This is why we were compelled to enjoy the unique opportunity to ski every resort in our state in a single day.”
