Pacific Coast Cycle for a Cause
September 16, 2009–Pacific Coast Cycle for a Cause, the benefit bike ride supporting the Billy Poole Ski Foundation, the Shane McConkey fund and the Riley Poor Fund, is now accepting donations through its website, www.PacificCoastCycleforaCause.com. The 1,200-mile bike ride is an effort to raise money and awareness to support the ski industry and families in memory of those who have passed or suffered life-altering injuries.
Organized by professional skier and BASE-jumper Max Kuszaj, the participants include some of the biggest names in skiing, and the event is open to all who wish to participate. Throughout the month of October, the riders will bike the length of the Pacific Coast raising money to aid their fellow skiers.
To donate to the Pacific Coast Cycle for a Cause, or to learn more about the event, please visit www.PacificCoastCycleforaCause.com. At the website you can find out more about the route, the participants, and the charities that will benefit from the ride.
Also, Pacific Coast Cycle for a Cause is currently in need of a support vehicle to accompany the bikers on their journey. Again, please visit the website to learn more and to help out.
