The Nimbus Independent crew, Pep Fujas, Andy Mahre, Eric Pollard and Chris Benchetler, and filmers Justin Wiegand and Ike Smith, spent two weeks in Hokkaido, Japan, last winter. Their first webisode of the winter, “En Route: Hokkaido,” documents the trip. They sledded in to the backcountry, took standard Japan road laps, and skied perfect trees at a ski area/amusement park. Despite Benchetler crushing his clavicle, it looks like a successful trip.

Nimbus will be releasing two more “En Route” websiodes as well as shorter “Point and Shoot” edits over the season. The next one, “En Route: Arlberg” is slated to go live November 5th.
