Dash Longe Skis his Heart Out

"Revival" edit showcases unused TGR footage from 2015

Last spring, Dash Longe needed to be in two places at once—on the mountain, and, as a new father, at home. Longe left his newly formed family in Salt Lake City for five weeks to film in prime conditions for the Teton Gravity Research movie Paradise Waits. Hours of footage, edited down to mere minutes in the final cut, highlight Longe’s attempts at finding Valhalla. “Revival” is a compilation of unused footage from those movie shoots, given new life. Longe’s skiing is loose, focused, and fast—flips, spins, and super G turns on 40-degree faces, set to Bobby Womack’s rendition of ‘California Dreamin’, are what you’ll find in this highlight reel edit.
