It’s hard to believe it has been 10 years since I first stepped foot in the Powder offices. I was an intern then—a college student in bad need of a haircut. When I arrived, editors Tom Bie, David Reddick, Derek Taylor, and Matt Hansen were starting production on the 35th volume of POWDER.
Now we’re in the throes of our 45th anniversary. The mission remains the same as when the Moe brothers made the first volume in 1972: to celebrate the other skiing experience. It’s that vision that has so resonated with skiers over the years and turned this small magazine into a passionate community. To say thanks to our loyal readers, we’re offering a limited edition anniversary t-shirt as well as discounted subscriptions. In order to receive the entire 45th anniversary volume, you’ll have to subscribe before July 5. Subscribe here.

Thank you for your continued support, and, like always, powder to the people,
—John Clary Davies, Powder Editor
