Hundreds of spectators lined the course to cheer on the six women and 10 men for their final performances. The slopestyle contained six features, starting with a rail-combo followed by “the wave” leading into the three-kicker-line and ending up in a multiple obstacle, a quarterpipe with optional redirect lip and a flat down rail.

Also on the podium were Keri Herman of Breckenridge, Colorado, finishing second, while Swede Emma Dahlstrom took third. Behind Kenworthy, Norwegian Felix Usterud won the silver medal; James Woods of Great Britain earned bronze.
