Dew Tour Team Competition Results

Team Atomic wins inaugural event

A new aspect at this year’s Dew Tour, the team competition, which pitted riders from Faction, K2, Head, Volkl, Atomic, and Armada against each other, came to a close with Team Atomic standing atop the podium in Breckenridge on Sunday. Due to high winds, the scheduled jump contest was cancelled, but replaced with a second jib session on Sunday afternoon.

In the first jib session, Gus Kenworthy pulled in the winning score for Team Atomic, with a run hallmarked by the day’s most difficult trick on a caged Toyota 4Runner. Going into the afternoon, Team Atomic sat in first place. Team captain Jossi Wells subbed in for Fabian Boesch, who was set to participate in the cancelled jump contest, in the day’s second jib session. Wells’ confident skiing pushed Team Atomic into first place, edging them in front of an impressive Team Volkl, represented by Nicolas Goepper, Alex Beaulieu-Marchand, and captain Ahmet Dadali.
