Gold: Dara Howell, Canada, 94.20
Silver: Devin Logan, U.S.A., 85.40
Bronze: Kim Lamarre, Canada, 85

For immediate release:
Dara Howell of Canada displayed a score of 94.20 points on her first run to take gold in the Olympic women’s freestyle skiing slopestyle event.

Devin Logan of the US took silver (85.40), with Canada’s Kim Lamarre in bronze just 0.40 behind.

Howell, the world silver medalist, had been dominant all day, also posting the top score in the morning heats.

World champion and favorite Kaya Turski failed to even make the final after crashing on both her runs in the qualification heats.
