Manufacturer's Description

Lange must have done some in-house sensitivity training, because their latest rendition of the RX 130 is the friendliest and most accommodating yet. The toe box is roomier, the liner is more comfortable, and wearing them still makes you feel and ski like a badass.

Lange did all of this without compromising the boot’s performance. When they tweaked the shape of the RX 130’s shell, Lange achieved a much more progressive flex than what I’ve experienced in previous renditions of the Lange RX 130 LV. I never got the “I’m pushing against a cold brick wall with my shin‰Û feeling, but with 12 degrees of forward lean and a four-degree ramp angle, these boots politely reminded me to stay forward when I got lazy.

The Lange RX 130 LV remains one of the best options for ex-gate bangers or skiers with limited ankle flection looking for a performance-focused pair of boots that’ll fit a variety of feet pretty damn well out of the box. It’s available in Lange’s classic 97-millimeter last, as well as a 100-millimeter last for folks with wider hooves. —Alex Buecking
