Tecnica’s Mach 1 Pro W LV doesn’t mess around. With a 115 flex and design that focuses on a more upright stance specific to the female anatomy, I felt like this boot effortlessly drove my skis down the hill.
It is part of Tecnica’s new women’s boot collection, born from the creation of their new Women to Women (W2W) project—an initiative to connect women’s specific products to the women’s skiing community. The Mach 1 Pro W LV boasts the Custom Shape Cuff Adapter that allows bootfitters to easily mold the upper cuff to the shape of a women’s lower leg, and a newly engineered fiber, called celliant, that contains minerals that turn body heat into infrared energy to reflect back onto the foot. In short, these boots are great for ripping up the resort, and keeping the feet warm, even on frigid East Coast days. —Caitlin Kelly
