DANA POINT, Calif. (Dec. 10, 2009) — The 2010 Powder Video Awards and Reader Poll presented by Verizon Wireless and Samsung (PVA) has made many invaluable memories since the inaugural show in 2001. This year, in honor of 10 years celebrating the best of skiing and ski cinematography Powder invites you to join us in revisiting some classic PVA moments.
Every Wednesday leading up to the show on January 30, 2010 a new clip will be posted on PowderAwards.com. This unique gallery offers a firsthand account of some of the best moments in PVA history.
While you’re there be sure to make your mark on the Powder legacy by voting in the 2010 Reader Poll. A single vote could make or break the reigning King and Queen of the Poll. So whether you want to see Seth Morrison and Ingrid Backstrom take their fourth and fifth consecutive wins or you’re backing a campaign to usher in new blood, make your voice heard and vote on PowderAwards.com before it’s too late.

Results will be announced live during the show at the historic Hotel Jerome in Aspen, Colorado. It is an invite-only event, but will be webcast LIVE at PowderAwards.com giving all Powder fans insider access to the show.
In addition to naming the top male and female skiers in the Reader Poll, the Video Awards will celebrate the skills of top skiing athletes, cinematographers, and photographers including the PVAs first ever “Life Time Achievement” award, which will be presented to a an individual whose impact on the sport and community is undeniable.
