On Saturday, April 12, Retro Fools Day will showcase skiers and riders competing on a slalom course and stunt ditch in retro gear. Springfest takes center stage on April 20 with pond skimming, the dummy downhill and live music, all benefitting Outdoors For All. Rhythm N Bruise debuts at Stevens Pass on April 26-27 to close out the season. This two-day rhythm course snowboard event will feature a $2,500 cash purse for the pro entrants. For more information on events, visit StevensPass.com/events.
Despite a slow start to the season with lower than average snow totals in December, winter came back with a vengeance in February, delivering 10 feet of snow during a 10-day period. For the season, Stevens Pass has received 439 inches of snow, only 11 inches shy of the annual average.
Stevens Pass is open daily through April 20, 2014 and will also re-open for April 26-27 before closing for the season.
