From AspenSnowmass.com — Aspen, Colo. (March 21) — Bud Light Spring Jam kicked off with 9 inches of powder and bluebird skies awaiting skiers and riders this past Friday morning, March 18, followed by a free Core Party concert in downtown Aspen featuring indie rock phenomenon, Broken Social Scene.

The 12th Annual KickAspen Big Air on Saturday night gathered a huge crowd as a laundry list of talented skiers and snowboarders entertained under the lights by hucking off of a 70 foot jump at the base of Aspen Mountain. Final results are below.

Ski:
1. Joe Shuster from Vernon, B.C., sealed first with a dub 12 mute taking home $2,000.
2. Dave Van Attta from Durango, Colo., took second also with dub 12 mute winning $1,000. Van Atta also won Crowd Favorite via text in voting and won an Alienware laptop.
3. Stephen Smith of Aspen, Colo., took third with a 720 tail blunt grab winning $500.

Snowboard:
1. Simen Neraker from Baerumes Verk, Norway, sealed first with a cab 10 melon taking home $2,000. Neraker also won Crowd Favorite via text in voting and won an Alienware laptop.
2. Wylie Adams from Carbondale, Colo., took second with a cab 9 taking home $1,000.
3. John Hemminger from Basalt, Colo., placed third with a back 7 winning $500.
