SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (September 6, 2012)- Mountain Sports International, Inc. (MSI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jessica Kunzer as the company’s new communications and marketing director. Kunzer joins MSI after five years with Salt Lake City based Ski Utah. Kunzer brings extensive experience in media relations, content generation and marketing communications strategy. She also has specific expertise regarding the ski, snowboard and outdoor industries having been involved with them the majority of her life. Kunzer holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico and an MBA from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah. She looks forward to combining her skills and experience with her passion for skiing and event production.

MSI announced the creation of a new globally unified Swatch Freeride World Tour by The North Face in July of 2012. Additionally, MSI has created The North Face Park and Pipe Open Series in conjunction with The North Face. The series serves as a pipeline to world-class competition for athletes competing in skier halfpipe and slopestyle. MSI is also currently managing the Ultimate Fighting Championship Octagon Nation Tour and several projects for Red Bull. MSI works closely with Burton on the creation and execution of snowboard specific event campaigns. MSI specializes in matching clients with events for brand penetration into target demographics, developing product identification and loyalty.
