Helly Hansen’s Uniform Program Grows Exponentially in 2009
13 More Resorts and Guide Services Bank on Helly Hansen’s High-Performance History
DELTA, B.C. (September 14, 2009) – Visitors to several of North America’s top winter
resorts will experience a variety of conditions, terrains and amenities yet one thing will
remain consistent – they’ll see Helly Hansen performance apparel on a wide range of
Helly Hansen embarked on a dedicated uniform-development initiative in 2006 that tied
together its storied work wear, sportswear and performance apparel collections. The
program provides resorts with a single-brand solution for every segment of operations,
from mechanics to ski patrollers.
During the past three years, numerous resorts, including Aspen/Snowmass, Copper
Mountain, Killington, Hunter, Durango and the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies selected
Helly Hansen as their exclusive uniform partner. In 2009, 13 more resorts, including
Squaw Valley USA, Kirkwood, Mt. Baker, Taos and Smuggler’s Notch; and Seattle-
based, international high-alpine guiding service Mountain Madness established their own
custom uniform programs with the Norwegian-based manufacturer.
