Fourth Annual SKINNY Ski-A-Thon
Bust out the old 210s for hot laps on Squaw Valley's KT-22 with Arcade Belts and the High Fives Foundation
(For Immediate Release) On Monday, March 31st, 2014 Squaw Valley (Olympic Valley, CA) will host the SKINNY Ski-A-Thon from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participants will complete as many laps on the KT-22 lift as possible on “SKINNY” skis with a waist of 70 millimeters of less. It will not be a race, but a casual event to have fun and enjoy the outdoors in the name of philanthropy. Participants will raise money for each completed lap and also gather flat donations with proceeds going to High Fives Non-Profit Foundation.
“Arcade Belt Co. is proud to be putting on the 4th annual Arcade Skinny Ski-A-Thon in benefit of High Fives Foundation,” says David Bronkie, Managing Director of Arcade Belt Co. “It’s been a joy witnessing the immense growth and support the event has garnered year after year, and we look forward to the fun that will be had at this year’s event as the local Tahoe community comes together to show support for the athletes with life altering injuries.”
New this year, thanks to support from Tyrolia Bindings, 25 pairs of “SKINNY” skis will be available to use with brand-new demo bindings for participants at the event on March 31’s 2014.
