As the pioneers of Alaska heli-skiing with 21 years of experience in the Chugach, VHSG offers some of the steepest, deepest big-mountain terrain in the world. Staffed with the most experienced heli-ski guides in the U.S., VHSG caters to the advanced to expert skier and rider looking for the most exciting heli-ski experience available. Valdez Heli-Ski Guide’s location in an area of the Chugach with favorable weather conditions makes it possible to fly more than 80 percent of the season. With a new snowcat parked right outside the lodge, there is never a down-day!

Guarantees and refund policies:A credit will be given for all un-skied runs less than the guaranteed run amount. All runs are credited at the rate of $100 per run. (Rarely are our run guarantees not met!)
Down Day Activity:We are able to fly more than 80 percent of our season, with only one or two down days per week. When we can’t heli-ski, we’re snowcat skiing from the lodge.
