Arc’teryx Procline Mountaineering Boot

All new for 2016, the Procline boot acts as Arc'teryx's entry into hardgoods

Not just a premium jacket maker anymore, Arc’teryx enters the hardgoods game with the new Procline mountaineering boot. The Vancouver, BC-based company started an approach shoe category three years ago, and this mountaineering boot features a split carbon cuff, allowing for 75 degrees of fore-and-aft motion, in addition to lateral flexibility. This boot isn’t made for hard-charging descents, as it more closely resembles a mountaineering approach hiking boot than a traditional alpine boot. But it’s a big step into the backcountry category for a renowned softgoods producer.
