Built with Gore-Tex three-layer fabric, articulated knees, and easy to reach exterior thigh vents, Scott’s most technical pant isn’t shy about getting into the backcountry. The breathable Gore-Tex fabric works to regulate moisture buildup, and extra venting comes in handy when you’re hauling ass up your objective. Fully taped seams keep you dry when the going gets tough, and Cordura reinforcement starts just above the ankle (and down from there), providing an abrasive resistant panel for scuffs from boots and skis. The adjustable bottom hem turns the Vertic (almost) into capris, giving you a bit of clearance for crampons and thus saving cuffs from being torn up. Stay dry when snow gets deep with a bib and adjustable suspenders that interlock with the Vertic jacket, or opt out and unzip the removable bib for days when deep snow is a pipe dream.
