Carbon inserts in the tip and tail and Air Tec Ti—where grooves are cut out of the beech and poplar wood core—keep the weight down to 2,000 grams per ski without sacrificing structure and stability. Not many carving skis showed up at Powder Week, but for a crisp morning with hardpack groomers, these skis were the right choice.
